Citation of IPUMS International
Publications and research reports based on the IPUMS International database must cite it appropriately. The citation should include the following:
Researchers should also acknowledge the statistical agencies that originally produced the data, listed here. All emails sent by the IPUMS data extract system provide model acknowledgment text for crediting the relevant statistical offices. The use of historical samples should also cite the corresponding data producers, listed here.
The licensing agreement for use of IPUMS International data requires that users supply us with the title and full citation for any publications, research reports, or educational materials making use of the data or documentation. Add your citation to the IPUMS bibliography.
