Biography

I joined ISRDI (formerly Minnesota Population Center) in 2016, starting on the IPUMS Tobacco Project, and moved to IPUMS International in 2017. Before working at MPC, I worked at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation on the Global Burden of Disease Risk Factor team and at the Iowa Department of Public Health at the Oral Health Center and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau. I am interested in creating computational tools that make data analysis easier and more intuitive. I think using well-designed tools allows for faster data analysis with fewer mistakes.
