GEO2_HN1961 identifies the household's municipality within Honduras in 1961. Municipalities are the second level administrative units of the country, after departments. Comparability — General

Municipalities with populations less than 10,000 (based on the most recent sample year) were regionalized (combined) with neighboring municipalities within the same department to create units with populations greater than 10,000.
