Description
GEO3_MZ2007 identifies the household's administrative post within Mozambique in 2007. Districts are the third level administrative units of the country, after provinces and districts. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO3_MZ2007 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.

Comparability — General
Administrative posts with very low populations were regionalized (combined) with neighboring posts within the same regionalized district to create units with larger populations.
