Description

GEO3_BD1991 identifies the household's upazila within Bangladesh in 1991. Upazilas are the third level administrative units of the country, after divisions and zilas. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO3_BD1991 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
