Comparability — General
Districts with populations less than 20,000 (based on the most recent sample year) were regionalized (combined) with neighboring districts within the same province to create units with populations greater than 20,000.
There are several unknown districts in the 1970 census microdata. In GEO2_TH1970, several districts are available with their respective codes and all unknown districts are grouped within its province (first administrative level unit) as a separate category.
