Description
GEO3_MZ1997 identifies the household's administrative post within Mozambique in 1997. Districts are the third level administrative units of the country, after provinces and districts. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO3_MZ1997 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.

Comparability — General
