Description

GEO1_UK1911 identifies the household's division within the United Kingdom in 1911. Each census division is made up of either complete Registration Counties or parts of Registration Counties. Divisions are the primary level of geography for the United Kingdom. Other geography variables from 1911 United Kingdom include, COUNTYUK, DISTUK, SUBDISTUK, and PARISHUK_1911.

The relationship among different historical UK geographic units is described in separate files for England and Wales and Scotland.
