Description

MIG1_P_AM indicates the person's province of previous residence in Armenia.

Comparability — General

Nagorno-Karabagh is coded as a province of previous residence, but it is not an official province in Armenia in 2001 and 2011. This region is de jure part of Azerbaijan, but de facto governed by the internationally unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
