Description
MIG1_1_ZM indicates the province in Zambia where the person lived one year ago.

Comparability — General
Where boundaries changed over time, units were harmonized to create units with boundaries that remain stable over time.
Boundary changes:
- Muchinga formed from parts of Northern and Eastern provinces after 2000.
The universe is slightly different in for the 2010 census than the 1990 and 2000 censuses, as absent household members are excluded.
