Description
INCTBR reports the person's total personal income from all sources for the previous month, with values expressed as broad income ranges.
Comparability — General
Figures are monthly income: the previous month's income for employees, or the average monthly income for the year for persons who did not work the previous month or otherwise had irregular or variable income.
Amounts are given as they were reported in 1960, in cruzeiros. Figures are not adjusted for inflation or devaluation.
Total income expressed in exact amounts rather than categories is available in the variable INCTOT, which also describes changes in Brazilian currency over time.
