Description
BPL1_MZ indicates the person's province of birth in Mozambique. Birthplace province codes from BPL1_MZ are compatible with codes from GEO1_MZ. Refer to BPL2_MZ for a person's district of birth.

Comparability — General
This question was only asked of household residents in the 1997 and 2007 samples. The universe is all persons in the 2017 sample.
