Comparability — General

In the 1985 sample the primary administrative level was organized into thirty provinces, but after 1985, the primary administrative level of Burkina Faso was completely reorganized into thirteen regions. This dramatic change in geographic organization makes integration between the 1985 sample and the later samples impossible.
