Description
This variable indicates the area of all rooms (rooms classified as living rooms and rooms classified as dependencies) in the dwelling.
To be considered a "room," the space must have at least 4 square meters of floor surface and must be at least 1,80 meters high over most of the surface. This variable differs from AREA (RO77A052) in that AREA does not include "dependencies" (kitchens, baths, corridors, etc.). See enumeration materials for further detail.
