Description
MIG2_5_SN indicates the person's department of residence 5 years ago within Senegal. Migration department codes for MIG2_5_SN are compatible with codes for GEO2_SN.

Comparability — General
Only persons in ordinary households were asked the migration question in 2013.
Where boundaries changed over time, units were harmonized to create units with boundaries that remain stable over time. Boundary changes for MIG2_5_SN are too numerous to list here, but users should be aware that there were changes over time.
