Description

HRSOVT indicates the number of overtime hours the respondent worked in the reference week.

The definition of overtime work may depend on each country's regulations about the maximum standard working time. The information used to define overtime work only includes the hours as they were reported directly from the questionnaire. Users could include additional samples from HRSACTUAL1 and apply a threshold between 40 and 48 hours per week to identify overtime work.
