Description
LANGNP2 indicates the person's second spoken language in Nepal. The second language is the language learned after the mother tongue and frequently spoken with neighbors and others. If there are many second spoken languages, then the most frequently spoken language among them is reported.

The first language the person learned in childhood is recorded in the mother tongue variable, MTONGNP.
