Description
LANGCH indicates the person's spoken language at home for all the Switzerland samples.
Comparability — General
The language the person knows best is recorded for all Swiss samples in the mother tongue variable, MTONGCH. The 2000 sample further identifies the language spoken at work or in school, recorded in an unharmonized source variable.
