If the respondent had two or more places of employment, questions 17.1-17.4 should refer to the place of employment which he/she considers the main.

Questions 17.1 -- 17.4 relate to the employment which is considered by the respondent as his/her main job.
If the respondent had more than one job, and finds difficult to determine the main one, it should be noted that the main job is the job where the respondent's work record card is kept, or the greatest number of hours is worked, or the highest income is earned;

33.15. In question 17.1. "Where was your place of employment?", the place of employment is understood the locality (city, urban settlement, administrative district) where the respondent's place of employment is actually located.

The answer "within your locality" is to be completed for respondents who work and permanently live in:

the same city, urban settlement or rural area;
different rural areas within the same administrative district.

The answer "in the other locality of the Republic of Belarus" is to be completed for respondents who within the bounds of the Republic of Belarus:

live in ? city or urban settlement, but work in a rural area;
live in one city or urban settlement, but work in another city or urban settlement;
live in a rural area, but work in ? city or urban settlement;
live in a rural area of one district, but work in a rural area of another district.
For example, if the respondent lives in the village of Benitsa, Molodechno district, and every day commutes to work in the village of Sivitsa, Smorgon district, "Smorgon" should be completed as his/her main place of employment.

The answer "in the other country" should be marked for respondents who worked outside of the Republic of Belarus and the name of the country where they worked should be specified. Exceptions are respondents working on a rotational basis outside the Republic of Belarus for whom the Republic of Belarus should be specified as their main place of employment.

For respondents whose employers were located in different localities of the Republic of Belarus or outside the Republic of Belarus, but the respondent's place of work was in the locality of his/her permanent residence in the Republic of Belarus, the answer "within your locality" should be marked.

For respondents having itinerant nature of work (drivers, machinists, pilots, flight attendants, builders, geologists, etc.), the name of the urban settlement or administrative district of rural area where they start their work should be indicated;
