For persons born in countries of near or far abroad, the name of the country of their birth is to be entered (e.g., "Russia", "Ukraine", "Poland", "Italy").

For persons born in the CIS [Commonwealth of Independent States] or non-CIS countries, the name of the country where they were born is to be recorded (e.g. Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy).
